Mr Chia Ti Lik

Chia Ti Lik is a litigation lawyer and a partner in the firm where he practices.

Ti Lik took an avid interest in constitutional law studies during his undergraduate days. He graduated with an Honours Bachelors Degree in 1998 from the National University of Singapore’s Faculty of Law, and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor to the local bar in 1999 where he started his career in litigation work.

Ti Lik’s experience in legal work and in particular his exposure to commercial and criminal trial has given him an insight into the practical workings of the legal system. He feels that reforms are necessary to achieve a better balance between the citizen and the State. In line with his philosophy below, he feels that there is no better route to make reforms other than via the political route.

Ti Lik is an avid sports person and a martial arts exponent. He earned a 3rd Degree Black Belt in Taekwondo at the age of 24 and is currently a part-time instructor to a small club of students where he strives to keep fit and share his expertise.

Where I Belong

Morning comes and I,

Can’t wait to see my sunny island,

In it’s glorius greenery,

Whether rain or shine it still beautiful,

Bright Lights shines on the streets at night,

 Guiding me closer to home,

To a place where I’ll be safe and warm,

Where i belong………………

Friends and families by my side,

Seeing me through as I grow and learn,

Everyday’s Experience,

Bitter, sweet, or sour, they’re still wonderful,

As they become precious memories,

They’ll be kept close to my eyes,

And no matter where I am, I will always knows,

Where I belong
