One Nation’s

Our Introduction

ONE NATION is a political party representing the people of Singapore who are concerned that their will is being ignored by the one party system. One Nation is committed to Singapore sovereignty, the Constitution & Government of the People by the People. Based on this we have developed objectives & policies reflecting the will of the people.

One Nation supports the maintenance of a democratic system of government based on restricting its size and levels of taxation to the minimum required to achieve efficient administration and the least possible intrusion into the lives of individuals, industry and commerce.

One Nation is strongly nationalistic in its world-view, seeking to put Singapore’s interests first and setting our own house in order before pursuing an international agenda.

The One Nation wholeheartedly believes in the unity of the opposition parties and commits itself wholly to such a cause.  It believes that a strong united opposition front would bring about maximum effectiveness and benefits to Singaporeans.  Only then, it can be a real force to challenge the might of the all powerful,  PAP government.

One Nation,  wish to see a two-party system eventually emerging in Singapore.  Only under such a political system can Singaporeans be assured of a truly democratic society as well as more check and balance for an accountable and transparent government.

win-win situation on Pedra Branca?

BY Yang BerHormat Mr Chua Tian Chang aka Tian Chua, Batu (KL) Member of Parliament and also Parti KeAdilan Rakyat or the People’s Justice Party Information Chief.

Government declared that it is a win-win judgement for Pulau Batu Puteh/Pedra Branca.

How is it win-win? The ICJ ruled that the main island legitimately belonged to Singapore. Malaysia only given two pieces of coral rocks. Where is our “win”?

In fact we have ‘lost’ the islet long before the ICJ ruling:

First, Umno led Alliance Government requested Singapore to succeed from the Federation of Malaysia. We have given up a Pulau, now we are fighting over a Batu.

Secondly, the Government appointed AG Abdul Gani Patail as the leader of the defense lawyers in the Hague. What do you expect from Gani? There is no Lingam to run around to contact the judges.

Last week, Foreign Minister Rais Yatim briefed our MPs in the Parliament, and he was very confident that the judgement would be on our favour.

In my view, the aftermath of Batu Puteh is not yet over. Umno over the last few decades has been fanning xenophobic anti-Singapore sentiment among the public. It would be tough for Umno to answer.

In parliament today, in our debate on the Supplementary Supply Bil, Opposition Leader Wan Azizah again questioned the wisdom of buying Sorpene and Sukhoi.

The YB of Lipis defended the government of the spending. I objected to him philosophically.

As we have witnessed, expensive weapon is no guarantee for the defence of our territories. We invest more in software rather than hardware. We need need more expertise in history, social science, the art of diplomacy, and so on.

Boycott Chia TiLik

Do you really need a leader like Chia Ti Lik leading Singapore? A womaniser leader? I was once his regular chatting mate in MSN and he did admit that he had an affair with a client age 30+ in his office. I guessed it was JaslynGo.
Yes, it might be his rights as a human being but we are given a brain to think as a human being. Sad to say he never use his brain wisely to think.
He admit to me, he love Jaslyn in our recent chat but why he need to do it secretly and hurts his wife (Michelle Yan) feelings and also Jaslyn’s husband at the 1st place?
Why all the secrecy relationship?
If both of them no longer love their partners, why not be frank to them?
Think fellow Singaporean, if he can cheat his love ones he can even cheat us.
ONCE AGAIN, PLEASE BOYCOTT CHIA TI LIK!!!
